Quick Read-Through
I will read through your entire manuscript to get an overall sense of the structure and its strengths and weaknesses.
Feedback
You will receive a brief editorial summary (1-2 pages) that gives an overview of the current shape of the manuscript, along with suggestions for next steps.

FEEDBACK ON THE DRAFT
For writers who want in-depth feedback on a completed draft.
Initial Coaching Call
We will meet at the start to discuss the process, expectations, goals, and any questions you have.
Feedback on a 1-page worksheet
You will be given a 1-page worksheet that will ask you to think deeply about the foundation of your novel/story idea. This includes elements like genre, why you want to write this story, your ideal reader, and a broad idea of your plot and characters.
While giving feedback on your manuscript, I will keep your worksheet answers in mind and check to see if the elements are present throughout your story.
Initial Read-Through
I will do an initial quick read of the manuscript to get a sense of the overall story structure and the big picture elements.
Thorough Read-Through
On my second read, I will go through your manuscript scene-by-scene, looking at the strengths and weaknesses of every aspect of your story. This includes looking at plot, characters, world-building, pacing, flow, structure, and more.
Feedback
For a Manuscript Evaluation, you will receive an extensive editorial summary with all of my feedback on strengths, weaknesses, suggestions, and next steps. You will also receive a story analysis report.
For a Developmental Edit, you will receive the extensive editorial summary and story analysis report from the Evaluation, with the addition of in-line comments made throughout the manuscript that point out specific moments of strengths, weaknesses, and suggestions. You will also receive a scene-by-scene analysis report.
60-minute Coaching Call
After receiving feedback, we will meet on a call to discuss the feedback, any questions you have, and next steps.

REVISE THE DRAFT
For writers who are ready to implement feedback. NOTE: You must complete a Write the Draft or a Feedback on the Draft package with me before you can work with me on revision.
Initial Coaching Call
We will meet at the start to discuss the process, expectations, goals, and any questions you have.
Deadlines
You will revise pages of your novel and submit them for additional feedback according to a deadline schedule. This schedule can be customized upon request, but the usual is having a deadline one to two times per month.
Feedback
For each deadline, you will receive in-line comments and an editorial summary on the strengths and weaknesses, including suggestions for additional improvements.
30-minute Coaching Calls
Each deadline includes a coaching call to discuss the feedback and suggestions, and next steps for continuing the revision stage.
60-minute Coaching Call
Upon the completion of the revised draft, we will have a 60-minute call to discuss the manuscript as a whole and any additional revisions that need to be made.
